The circumstances surrounding us playing for for this 10-year wedding anniversary party are truly bizarre. Travelling from Heathrow Terminal 5 to London in July, I struck up a conversation with a fellow passenger, and soon the conversation turned to music. It turned out that this gentleman, as well as being a successful businessman, was also an amateur jazz musician. We discovered we had many musical friends in common and as the conversation progressed, to our astonishment, we figured out that I had played in a jazz band at his wedding in Guildford, 10 years previously. It just so happened that his 10 year wedding anniversary party was scheduled for September, and so of course, he had to book the band again!
